Industrial Painter / Commercial Painter - Manufacturing, Fabrication & Steel

Overview

Republic DFW is seeking Industrial / Commercial Painters to support manufacturing and fabrication operations. This position is ideal for candidates with experience painting steel, fabricated components, industrial equipment, piping systems, or metal structures using spray equipment and protective coatings.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial and commercial painting on fabricated steel, equipment, and structural components.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, or blasting before coating.
• Apply primers, protective coatings, epoxy coatings, and finish coats using airless spray systems, HVLP guns, rollers, or brushes.
• Mix paints, primers, and industrial coatings according to shop or manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect finished surfaces for coverage, quality, and coating requirements.
• Maintain spray guns, hoses, compressors, painting equipment, and work areas.
• Follow PPE, ventilation, respirator, and shop safety procedures.

Requirements

• Industrial painting, commercial painting, manufacturing paint, or spray painting experience preferred.
• Experience with airless sprayers, HVLP systems, conventional spray guns, or similar equipment.
• Experience with steel, pipe, equipment, fabricated metal, or structural component painting is a plus.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, masking, grinding, sanding, and coating procedures.
• Ability to work in a shop environment with PPE and safety requirements.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
